What car do you currently drive?
Skoda Octavia VRS
How long have you owned this car, and why did you choose it?
At the time of writing, I’ve only owned it for a day! I bought it because it’s a powerful car, but still relatively cheap to run.
What modifications or customisations have you added to your car?
None…yet.
Are you planning to add any?
Yes, I have a few in mind. First I’ll tackle the suspension and brakes, then add a front mount intercooler, a Forge dump valve, a K&N Typhoon induction kit, a Stage 2 or 3 clutch kit and then round it all off with a remap.
What was the first car that you owned?
It was a Vauxhall Corsa B 1.5 TD, with the Astra 1.9 Engine! The good old days, right?
What is your dream car?
It has to be a Ford Escort Cosworth.

Which celebrity’s car collection do you envy most?
Jay Leno’s, without a doubt. Just look at it!
Where is your favourite place to drive in the UK?
The road that leads from the A1 near Alnwick to Seahouses. It’s a blinder.
What would be your ultimate dream road trip?
I’d love to take a two week trip to watch the Belgium Grand Prix, then stay for a track day!

What car do you currently drive?
Black BMW 3 Series E90 (318d)
How long have you owned this car, and why did you choose it?
I’ve been driving this car for a year now. I chose it due to its great MPG - it does 70 miles to the gallon on the motorway! I also chose the 3 series, as it’s a timeless design which will always attract attention. Furthermore, its great reliability is also something I took into consideration when purchasing the car, as I have to travel many miles a day. Last but not least, it’s made in Germany!
What modifications or customisations have you added to your car?
Unfortunately unlike our customers at LK, I’m not as creative when it comes to making modifications to my car. However after working here for 6 months I’m starting to feel like it would be rude not to, so I’m in the process of adding a set of Rohana Rc10 alloy wheels to my car to give it that performance look.
Are you planning to add any more?
After my wheels are fitted I’d like to keep adding performance parts to my car to increase its overall performance and style. This will include a K&N filter; Alloygaters (to protect my new rims); and I’ll also consider making my car air ride by fitting some AirREX coilovers. With my new wheel choice, it will leave a lot of room to see through to the braking system so I will be looking to replace my current system with Brembo brake disks and pads. All in good time, though!
What was the first car that you owned?
My first car was a run-down 1998 VW Polo which I bought at auction for £400. It was a great laugh. It was in bright red with two large ‘go faster’ stripes down the middle, and fitted with some modest yet stylish £9.99 black spray painted wheel trims. I thought it looked great, but I was young and naïve! It was the epitome of a car that was just to get you from A-B.
What is your dream car?
This is an almost impossible question to answer; there are just far too many choices. However if I had just won the lottery, I think the first car I’d choose would have to be the 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Eleanor. Just as I think you cannot beat a true classic, plus on a warm sunny day there’s nothing like the deep sound of a V8 engine on a muscle car.

Which celebrity’s car collection do you envy most?
I have seen a lot of amazing celebrity car collections, from Cristiano Ronaldo’s to Dan Bilzerian’s. But of the entire car collections I have ever seen I think it would be near impossible to beat the car collection of the late Paul Walker (who starred in The Fast and the Furious movies). It was blatantly clear that he was a devoted car enthusiast, who knew nearly as much about performance as us here at LK.

What car do you currently drive?
MK6 VW Golf 2.0TDI
How long have you owned this car, and why did you choose it?
I’ve had this car for a year. I needed a reliable daily driver with lots of modification potential!
What modifications or customisations have you added to your car?
The Golf is sitting on a Koni coilover suspension kit, and genuine BBS VZ alloy wheels with Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres. It’s also had a stage 2 remap, a DPF Delete kit, a Pipercross air filter and some general re-styling.
Are you planningto add any more?
At some point, I’d like to get my car wrapped in a black finish.
What was the first car that you owned?
A Vauxhall Corsa D 1.2 SXI, which was severely lacking in power.
What is your dream car?
A Ferrari Daytona.

Chris Evans, he loves his Ferraris!
Where is your favourite place to drive in the UK?
I love going to Caldwell Park on a weekend – it’s the closest thing we have to the Nurburgring in the UK!
