Firstly, I’d like to make it clear that I was instructed to write this blog by my boss.

I would also like to state that it was the hardest blog I’ve ever had to write and took many, many hours of study in the making.

Also, as a case in point, Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger are, at the moment, as far as we know, a couple. But this could change. Because let’s face it, there’s potentially any number of eligible young ladies who might fancy a tour with one of these young, fit, jet-setting, eight-figure-salary, stud-muffin-speed-merchants, elite members of one of the most exclusive clubs in the world. So, with the added proviso that this blog could be as obsolete as the brand spanking new laptop you just purchased last week, I will proceed.

One of the most difficult and time consuming things about working on this particular blog was the sheer number of pictures of Nicole Scherzinger I had to wade through; saucy underwear, swimwear in the studio, swimwear on the beach, posed shots, singing shots, dancing shots, moving moments of touching intimacy with Lewis H, wet T-shirt pics, photos where you wonder how she had managed to work out quite how to stretch the tiny bits of elastane on her body, so small were they in surface area. It’s been great terrible educational exhausting.

Only by going through each and every one of hundreds of images was I then able to move on to Russian underwear model Xenia Tchoumitcheva… purely as research, as of course, Fernando Alonso having divorced from Raquel del Rosario, moved on from Xenia to another Russian model, Dasha Kapustina in 2013. Felipe Massa and wife Anna Rafaela Bassi have been together since 2002, marrying in 2007. Nico Rosberg got engaged to his gorgeous long-term squeeze, Vivian Sebold last October. Timo Glock and his German model partner, Isabell Reis appear to be going strong. Romain Grosjean and Marion Jolles became parents for the first time last year.

Venezuelan driver Pastor Maldonado married his journalist partner Gabriela Tarkanyi in 2012. Daniel Ricciardo and Jemma Boskovich have been dating since 2009 and she follows him around the world to the various meets.

Heikki Kovalainen is still with Catherine Hyde, despite a terrible race crash in 2010, which left her with a fractured hip,pelvis and damage to her leg muscles. Rear suspension failure on his Audi R8 was to blame for the accident.

Ex-driver and presenter David Coulthard finally tied the knot with the mother of his son and Belgian presenter Karen Minier last December. Historically, certain F1 characters like James Hunt deserve a whole blog to themselves when it comes to the women they’ve dated and Coulthard too comes under that bracket. Brazilian catwalk model Simone Abdelnour was preceded by Lady Victoria Hervey, models Ruth Taylor, Heidi Klumand Heidi Wichlinski, Canadian model Andrea Murray and Kendja Demoraes. And that’s only the ones we know about.

And it’s not just the drivers who seem to get their pick of the world’s most gorgeous women; FIA president Todt’s partner is the extraordinarily beautiful and talented Chinese Martial Arts actress Michelle Yeoh.

It would of course have been all too easy to spread any number of provocative pictures of scantily clad, world-beating beauties across this virgin page. But to be honest, trying to pick the right picture from the myriad presented to me, having looked I assure you, at each and every one of them, I realised I couldn’t possibly decide which one to choose above any other. Seriously. I’m doing you such a favour. I mean, who am I to be deciding what and who you should be looking at? I’m not God. Xenia Tchoumitcheva might just have me believing though…
